Gerald Go of Graphics Systems Corporation becomes Microsoft Certified Software Engineer to serve SolidWorks customers on a higher level
by Anonymous

Menomonee Falls, WI February 1 2004--Gerald Go, IT Support Specialist at the Midwest’s leading SolidWorks reseller, Graphics Systems Corporation (GXSC), received his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on Windows 2000 after completing the last of seven exams in December 2003.

Go holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from De La Salle University. Before coming to GXSC, Go was employed in Product Development and Research at the Manila, Philippines-based Philippine Commercial International Bank (now the Equitable PCIBank). Since June of 2000, Go has handled IT support for GXSC internally, in addition to giving demonstrations and supporting Solidworks Solution Partner Product Data Management (PDM) software.

Although Go is also a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) on SQL Server 2000, he wanted to add to his computer science education even further. Therefore he had to pass all the exams required for the MCSE certification. These included two design/implementation exams on Microsoft Windows 2000 Network Infrastructure and Databases with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition, three Installing, Configuring, and Administering exams on Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition, along with two Implementing and Administering exams on Microsoft Windows 2000 Network Infrastructure and Microsoft Windows 2000 Directory Services Infrastructure.

“Gerald’s MCSE achievement demonstrates our commitment to technical excellence,” states Jeff Setzer, Technical Services Manager and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
